Mein fremdes Land

As the fourth child of a goatherd, he was born in a barren mountain village in Bolivia. Sick, emaciated and not yet aware of his own existence, a Lufthansa plane brought him to an adoptive family in Germany when he was just a few months old. José Noé Estrada became Manuel Phillip Sosnowski. The film follows the journey of the now thirty-year-old back to his mother's country.
